POC in Architecture is an award-winning Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to driving representation in architecture in the UK.
Through mentorship, community, and meaningful support, we’re empowering the next wave of POC architects and designers to take their rightful place in shaping the built environment.

WHAT WE DO
Since launching in 2020, we’ve grown into a network of students and professionals, committed to making architecture more inclusive, accessible and representative. Our annual architecture mentoring programme pairs students with practising architects. We also host events, publish resources, and run workshops to challenge the status quo and push the profession forward.
why it matters
Only 1% of UK-registered architects are Black. This is not due to a lack of talent, interest or potential, but a systemic issue in education, employment and the industry at large.
We’re working to change that by creating pathways, building confidence, and amplifying the voices of those who have historically been left out.
